My session on Simile (si-mu-lee)

I was little nervous and was on time in the meeting room. I started the session with distributing a small bit of paper to each listener to write down the feedback of the session. This will really help me to see the feedback as and when and will try to avoid that feedback again. I started with a slow voice with the introduction.  The session was so simple and it was lasts only for few minutes. Good! I’m satisfied that I covered the topic and it went well. I asked for the feedback and everybody started writing…. I collected the paper and said thank you for the feedback and we dispersed.
After the session I started to read the feedback, most of it saying the session was good. But the few feedbacks that I need to take care in my next session were about the introduction is not clear and the pronunciation of the words. Instead of si-mul-lee, I pronounced it as si-mile. One of the feedbacks was that the listener described that she has used “like” and “as” several times in her writing without knowing that these are simile. She thanked me for letting her know. J (Even I thank you for patiently listening to my lectureJ)
My next post will be my next experience on the session II.
